Coyotes @ Leafs - Mar. 10th, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

Kallgren already looks better than Mrazek. Battling in the crease...And you know, being in the crease! It's a good start!

Yeah, maybe Elliotte is right: Josh Manson required.

Josh Manson isnt stoping those goals from happening.  The Leafs need a defenseman like him too but bad goaltending is exposing the team defense far more to me than the defense letting our goalies down.

If Mrazek was playing for both teams this would be a 7-4 Leafs lead

Not sure they can pull this one out. Let's see what Kallgren can do.
I really don't care what they do in the regular season. April is when it counts and even then, it's only hockey lol.

I think it's a combo of both and now both are playing scared.

We'll have Obi-Wan Kenobi a couple weeks after they get knocked out. Can't wait for that!

I don?t believe Dubas truly thinks our goaltending doesn?t need an upgrade for playoff time. No matter what he says this goaltending is hot garbage .

Kid was over his head when they gave him the job. Caved in on every contract and basically handcuffed himself. Now he's trying to fix the damage at the expense of costing up more prospects and picks.

As annoyed as I am with this game, I disagree with these generalizations. 34, 16, even 88 are earning their contracts. 91 not so much and frankly was never likely to but it was hard to find many that weren?t excited at 91 coming. Clearing some Lou mistakes cost the Leafs. Lastly, and far more key is no one could have predicted a global pandemic that cratered the Cap from increasing especially with new USA TV deal coming. Goaltending was a gamble and I think most fans were ok with moving on from Andersen. I also think Dubas has been pretty darn good at identifying value players. I don?t know of too many misses (Mrazik now maybe).

In short, no GM is perfect but Dubas is far from being over his head - assuming this means he operates alone which is far from reality.

He kind of was, in a manner of speaking.

Well said.

I'm watching the game on NHL Live.  I like how the identify goals and good saves.  Right now they have one save up for the Leafs.

Around 2 months to go boys...we've got some time to improve the situation...they know they've got a goalie prob at the moment ...there's some time to sort this out.  Playoff seeding is not really relevant.

Yup ..seeding doesn't matter. You've got a beast no matter who you play and theres a 1/4 of a season to go. Lots can happen.
