To those saying Reimer was best when he played regularly, his career save pct is above .935 when he has 9+ days rest, significantly higher than any other scenario.

Someone posted the graphic to Twitter the other day and I was surprised because I was in the he plays better when he plays regularly camp.

I'd imagine that's a pretty small sample size though, and a few of those games that were included would have been when he was coming back from an injury.

I didn't get to watch the game with my own eyes, just the score ticker and the boxscore after.

Did it look like our penchant for giving up good chances come to the forefront last night? Did our stellar goaltender play merely average? Did the play of our first line largely take place in front of our own net?

You're smart enough to already know the answers to all of these.

You're smart enough to already know the answers to all of these.

Especially when the answer to all three is the same.

My post from pre-game with some furhter thoughts. I really don't believe we have a retreaded squad, this team never plays well against trap teams and the Devils invented the trap or it seems so. They came out flat and sat on their laurels of the past 6 games.  So back to work.
I guess like all of us, I want to believe the Leafs are moving in the right direction, slowly, but surely. (oh and ya, i hate the trap)

"Our recent history is not good in relation to winning games that we should win, such as tonights opponent. So we have played down to teams that either play over their heads or want to win in T.O.  So the test tonight with this new squad, this new apparent chemistry, is to see if we have a real team in the making or just another retreaded squad".
