Leafs by a goal in regulation.

Gonna miss the game tonight as we're at Stage West.

OK I'm back now...what did i miss?

Lupul. Kadri. Kadri. Kadri.  4-0 final. Lupul set up all three of Kadri's goals. He was awesome. Kulemin was on that line and was a beast doing the bodychecking and opening up the ice for the other two. Reimer was solid when he had to be. Penalty killing was top notch. Sens sucked :-) Alfredsson booed in his own building. Go Leafs Go chant was so loud, the ScotiabankPlace audio guy cranked up the rock music to drown them out.

Limited sample size, etc, but Lupul is 2nd in the league in ppg right now. Also, Kadri is 12th, and Kessel is 31st.

Any chance Carlyle ever puts them together ala Ryan-Getzlaf-Perry?

I missed this and wanted to watch the domination on game in an hour on CBC, but they're showing the Montreal game on all channels >:(

The "observations" by Hughson and Simpson tonight were frankly embarrassing for what is supposed to be CBC's top duo. Simpson's Kulemin comment on Kadri's last goal is worthy of nomination for stupidest and most non-factual statement ever.

The comment on Kadri being so "streaky" was also idiotic

OTTAWA -- It seemed like a home game to Nazem Kadri and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Kadri scored three times and had an assist while James Reimer made 31 saves for his second shutout of the season as the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Senators 4-0 in Ottawa.

The 22-year-old from London, Ont., scored a one-timer on Ottawa's Ben Bishop at 4:48 of the third period to complete his hat trick. Resumption of play was delayed as hats littered the ice and chants of ``KA-DRI'' broke out.

``Leafs Nation is everywhere,'' said Kadri. ``We obviously appreciate the support and want to give back as much as we can. To see everyone, especially at the start of the game with that 'Go Leafs Go' chant, and to hear it throughout the whole building, it kind of got everyone going. We took advantage of that.''

That's the spirit!

GO LEAFS GO!!

I cant believe them clowns in the 2nd intermission saying that Nonis needs to or should be trying to get a goalie. we don't need a goalie, when will they realize they are looking like idiots by keep bringing that up.
I think Reimer is showing Nonis he has the right goalie between the pipes, and  Scrivens aint to shabby when called on.

So, the win last night counted as a home or an away win ? ;) both records now 10-6-2, sweet.

Reimer career @ Ottawa: 5-0-0 .976 SV% 0.80 GAA
Imagine the 1st round against Ottawa with home and away ice advantage and Reimer putting up those kind of numbers...

The dismissive comments were unreal.  Kulemin just being a passenger on the Lupul-Kadri line.  He was clearing space and was highly effective.  He's not on the offensive level of Lupul and Kadri but he's not just standing by.

I heard that too...and Kulemin was the one that made the hit and the play at the blue line to keep the puck in.  He hasn't been a passenger at all.

I really like Kulemin's game lately.

Kulemin has 4 goals and 6 points in the 6 games he has played with Lupul and Kadri and to take it further in the 2 games Lupul was suspended Kulemin chipped in an assist.  Passenger.....haha.

Also for a fairly physical and strong defensive player, he gets ripped pretty hard by the broadcasters/casual fans for a guy on pace for 46 points.

I wouldn't say it's just casual fans that have been ripping on Kulemin. It's slowed as of late, as his production has gone up, but Kulemin has been ripped for 2 years straight. Call it unreal expectations if you'd like.

I don't think expecting more from Kulemin than what he did last year is unrealistic. Expecting him to duplicate 2010-11 is, but right now, on pace for 15 or so goals and 40+ points is, I think, a fair expectation of him going forward.

That's what I was referring to by stating "unreal expectations."...

I mean, we may see Kulemin push the 20 goal mark from time to time, but he is what he is...A solid 3rd liner that plays a hard game and goes to all the dirty spots on the ice.
