I wouldn't say it's just casual fans that have been ripping on Kulemin. It's slowed as of late, as his production has gone up, but Kulemin has been ripped for 2 years straight. Call it unreal expectations if you'd like.
You would like to say that his biggest mistake was to score 30 goals because he will always be forced to try to live up to that. However, in doing so even if it was an aberration it shows that he may be good for another surprise season in the future. It also shows that this is a guy that can play a strong defensive role with offense to chip in and somebody that you can move all over the line up. Very valuable guy when you factor in his never say die work ethic even when he was at his lowest of lows last season.
