If they'd lost, everyone would be on them.

If they win, still on them because they didn't win decisively enough.

I didn't care about that I was in the camp that only cared about the 6 pts.

Even losing to a hot Colorado team wasn't that bad.

Now we are crumpling with full on special teams fail against a basement team.

Just finished working and flipped over to Yahoo in time to see the Leafs down 3-1 with 2 ppg against. And now Armstrong is injured again - that's not good.

I can understand a bit of the negativity - it is tough to see the Leafs off to a good start to the season and to start to be plagued by the same issues as last season (notably special teams).

Here's hoping they can come back and win this one.

I think it's kind of pointless to call any team a top team or a basement team this early.

Rangers hadn't won anything, and then they beat Vancouver 4-0.  The 4 conference finalists from last year have a combined 6 wins to start the year or something.

As far as I see it, they started almost perfect, and that's what we wanted, so I'm happy with that.  Not to say there aren't glaring areas that need to be addressed, but as long as they win...
