Phil Kessel is to this year's Maple Leafs what Will was to Carlton's High School basketball team.

I always wondered why Will never got a basketball scholarship.

Well, he only played on the team for that one episode. That's no way to impress the scouts.

Not true. There was the one other episode where Will and the player from the opposing team were each vying for one scholarship but Will found out that the other player had a young son so he threw the game.

Not that that made any more sense.

Yeah no way Gardiner is scratched next game, and Franson will probably get in

We have 8.1M of D-man as our 3rd pair right now  :P

To OT we go!  I think it will go better this time.

Does it make sense to say that  team with 8, possibly 9, points out of 10 has a record that flatters them?  I dunno.

You know, say what you will about how the team's played recently but they've come from behind for at least a point in all three of their post lay-off games which says something to their ability/coaching.

Right. Forgot about that one. Still, two episodes? No way to impress the scouts.

Wilson's ability to tap Kessel on the shoulder sure is something else.

That, and they've only given up one tying goal in a game where they held the lead. So, progress?

Sure it does.  The more points you have, the easier it is for those points to flatter you ...
