Game 65: Maple Leafs @ Les Habs 7:00pm - The New Era ?

It looked like Subban almost hit Grabbo in the head there, and the replay confirmed it. If Grabbo didn't get out of the way a bit, that could have been a nasty.

Did Hughson just say that Grabo "smeagoled" under that hit? Or did he say "sneaked"?

You heard it right, he started that a while back.

Huh. I guess either I haven't been paying too close attention or I don't watch HNIC often enough.

I kind of like it, it reminds me of another Tolkien word I'm hoping applies to the Leafs this year, eucatastrophe.

The Habs have the hobbit one all sewn up.

He's got a goal and a assist tonight. Give that man a cigar and a new contract. JML... tell me you still don't think he is worth the coin.

That's a bit reactionary don't you think? It's his first goal in 15 games.

And i think you have a ill informed view of grabbo and i'm not alone.

Look at the record we have when he scores and when he doesn't. He just took a big hit along the boards and got right back in the play without a beat being missed. He's a warrior and plays with his heart on his sleeve. Most leafs could learn a few things from his play and attitude.

They better get some more toughness back in this lineup. Good to see Rosehill coming back. Theres no-one on the bench and as much as I like Brown he's not a guy that's going to scare anyone. He's not your protypical enforcer. Subban taking a run at Grabs. I know we have a one goal lead but if Orr or Rosehill were in the lineup he might second guess running around at our top guys.
