Bernier no play puck! Bernier no play puck!!!

He's so bad at it but plays the puck all the time.  Whoever comes in as goaltending coach needs to attack a seatbelt to Bernier so he can't get away from the posts.

For not handling a bad pass at high velocity from Bernier that was behind him and in his feet?

i hate this goalie! he has more talent than raycroft but he has the same focus issues.  a true jocks' jock, two brain cells and a lot of space in between.

Hopefully he watches some videos of Nelson Mandela's play in the offseason.

You could also blame Gardiner there, but yeah.

I don't like to blame players for having a hard time receiving bad passes.

Eh, I expect the receiving player to at least keep it from going in front of the goal.

No, no, a player at the NHL level has to be able to handle that pass!  Even if it means not attempting to play it, he's got to ensure he doesn't set it up so easily like he did for an easy goal against.  He just can't think the game fast enough!!!  JMHO.

There's only so much control you have over how the puck bounces off you - especially when it's moving at a decent velocity.

Well done !!

I think it's pretty great to see Orr on the bench smiling and laughing with the team.

For all the flak he took around here, I respect his game, and appreciate the punches he took.  There are easier ways to make a million bucks.

I wish him the best in retirement.

what a joke cbc! this season has been the worst production ive ever seen. they could do better by just giving us the raw live coverage

Has there been a single Montreal-Toronto game where Gallagher hasn't made at least incidental contact with our goaltender inside the blue paint.  I honestly hate the guy.  Not in the "wow he's getting under the players skin kind of way".  I just don't care for guys who repeatedly run through the crease making contact with goaltenders.  I think goalies should be fair game if they go wandering but it bugs me when guys get into the crease and get on top of goalies.

Decided to check in for this game. It's been a while since I've managed to watch one and longer since I felt the urge to comment!

At least the summer for drafting and trading and stuff should be entertaining, I hope everyone from the regular GDT group has a good off-season!
