So...on the one hand they are getting all their wins vs. the West but on the other hand they have a west coast trip coming up and they don't have success vs. the west typically.  ;)

Well, they don't have success on these specific road swings. It might help them that Edmonton, Calgary, Anaheim, San Jose and Vancouver are all struggling/bad teams this season.

Wow. I didn't really realize how ugly the situation really is. Those 5 teams are all in the bottom 10. So, never mind what I said about those trips before. They're going to be some ugly hockey games, I imagine.

I'm kind of worry that the Pens won't make the playoffs this year, and Kessel's 1st will be in 2016-17 draft, and how do you move a top 5 goal scorer in the league and accept a lottery protected pick for 2 years ?

Anyway, hope they play almost like to win, but don't.

Because Rutherford is apparently a hell of a lot smarter than Brian Burke.

Well Bernier's stats aren't improving any time soon.

Nope. Felt the first goal was stoppable - it kinda went through him -  but the other two were just good goals. It did look like Bernier made himself "small" on that 2nd one, though - not that it really would have matter much - which is often a sign of goalies who have their confidence shaken. That early goal may have gotten to his head.

Okay. There is officially no standard for goaltender interference. I would have thought hitting the goalie in the head would be a pretty clear violation.
