What a grate sentence.

Depends on how British you're feeling.

That was just two years ago. Three of those players don't have NHL contracts anymore, and Joey Crabb is a healthy scratch with the Florida Panthers.
In McClement's first season the other 3 top penalty killing forwards were Kulemin, Komarov, and Bozak. That's a huge step-up looking at it 4 for 4.
I don't think enough credit is going to the biggest reason: the goaltending.
Last season Reimer had a .920 SV% on the PK.
In 11-12, Gustavsson was the best at ,875, Scrivens was .865, and Reimer was woeful at .808.
In '10-11, Reimer was .855, Giguere was .835, and Gustavsson was .784.
In 09-10, Gustavsson was .851, Toskala was .778.
The goaltending makes that big of a difference.
You spelt "Carlyle" wrong.
You spelt "spelt" "spelt." "Spelt" should be spelled "spelled."
What a grate sentence.

Potvin29 said:So he's diligent defensively and played the 2nd most forward minutes on the 2nd ranked PK last season, but you'd get rid of him because he doesn't look natural when he does it?
I don't see why that would matter? Are we interested in form over substance? By your own admission he's a hard worker who has been entrusted with a lot of heavy minutes and has performed well in those minutes.
The PK was never going to sink or swim on the back of one player alone, and I don't see why the team would want to purposely hurt its depth simply because a player looks unnatural when doing something, or because the team didn't fall off a cliff on the PK without him.

Pretty please, let's not.

That's not better. Can we not force unnatural nicknames on players, please? This is Lockdown Luke Schenn all over again, but even worse this time.
