Kessel signs long term extension (8 yrs, 64M, 8M AAV)

LMAO!

@PKessel81: Night fishing with friends doesn't get much better

@PKessel81: Relax people playoffs would been better some of u need to chill out it's crazy

Poor guy.

I think the Olympics burnt out a lot of guys, there are many even in the playoffs not performing up to standard and with our non 4th line policy, our first line was pushed to burn out.  This has to change, we need to roll 12 guys whom can all play the game.

Sidney Crosby led all forwards in average TOI with 21:58 per game this season. Only Vancouver had more instances of forwards playing above that in a single game. It's pretty obvious that the Leafs played their top guys way too much and their bottom guys not enough.

Phil looks like he has a case of the Kyle Wellwoods this summer.

And yet we always wanted Sundin to have more icetime.

That's just kind of how he always looks.

That video reminds me of an article during the year where a bunch of players on the team commented on how strong Kessel was, especially his legs, and how he was basically just naturally good at so many sports.  It's also remarkable how he almost never gets injured (knocks on wood).

Thats what I thought...He doesn't look much different. I saw that Daly fellow and thought "holy crap he looks horrible...and also he did something to his hair!" but it wasn't Kessel. Maybe Kessel looks bigger because there is that one shot where hes standing 3 feet from the sun....oh wait thats also Daly...nevermind.

Even if he is carrying a pound or two, who cares as long as he's in the shape he's supposed to be in come October or so

Yeah it was just some fun on my part, he's definitely carrying maybe 10 extra pounds, but good for him, he's always well prepared come go time.

Haha, that's a friend of mine golfing with them. No idea how he got In their group.

I actually kind of like how Kessel isn't joe slick with the media. Unfortunately he's comes across as basically a kid with not much to say, but it least it's genuine. I can respect that.
