Leafs 2015/2016 Schedule in 10 game chunks

Not trying to be an ass or anything, genuinely.

Have you changed your mind on the bottom five thing?

I have said all season and maintain, this won't be a bottom five team before the sell-off.

I took a fair amount of heat for that statement, just wondering if you've softened on your stance some.

So, turnabout being fair play and all, are you still sold on your stance that the Leafs won't be a bottom 5 team until they start selling people off?

Damnit, I was waiting until the ASG break to throw that back in his face ;)

Fair comment, I still think it's within the realm of possibility that they climb out of the bottom five before then, but the JVR injury definitely makes that unlikely.

EDIT: I've checked this thread a few times recently, I was expecting this to come up.

Busta is just practicing. You can throw it back in his face for real next week!  :P

So, an interesting trend . . . rest of the season after a West Coast swing . . .

11/12 - 6-13-4
12/13 - no West Coast trip
13/14 - 2-12-0
14/15 - 7-22-3
15/16 - ??? 0-1-0 so far.

1-5-2 since getting back from out west.

Some other numbers:

0 wins in 13 games against Atlantic division opponents
6 wins in 28 games against Eastern Conference opponents

5 game road trip starts on Saturday, although who are we kidding, Saturday's game in Ottawa is basically like a Leafs home game.

That's a hell of a road trip for the tank. OTT-CGY-EDM-VAN are all within 5 points of us.

Also, not a single back-to-back situation in the next 10 games, wonder when we see Bernier next?

Leafs also finally get to see McJesus in Edmonton.  Should be a fun night.

Fun trip! Edmonton is getting their game going, finally. Leafs haven't won in Vancouver since November 2003! Chicago is Chicago. Ottawa and Calgary are struggling, but both will likely bring their best for the Leafs on their home ice. Good times.
