Leafs 2016/2017 Schedule in 10 game chunks

Starting to look similar to last season's second chunk where the Leafs went 6-2-2.

At the Canadiens again this Saturday?  Man those guys have a heavy home schedule...the are banking those early home game points though

Well, I close in the last 10 games (6-3-1 predicted vs 5-4-1 actual) so...

5-3-2 over the next 10, including Saturday's win.

Another red line last night to be added. As much fun as the team is to watch, and while you can't account for a goalie playing as he did, we'll need to start adding a few more green lines. Some of the losses are getting a bit frustrating now.

Maybe I'm just impatient.

I'm with you.  Too many red lines.  A team that gives up 10 goals the night before and the Leafs can't get more than 1 on 52 shots...*sigh*

Thursday against Arizona, I wonder how Matthews will respond in that game?  Hopefully he gets plenty of ice time.

I saw someone talking yesterday about just how bad the Atlantic division is this season. You could argue that after Montreal there's still 2 playoff spots well up for grabs by just about anybody.

Ottawa and Boston currently occupy the 2 and 3 spots with 34 points each. Ottawa has played 29 games while Boston has 30.

Then Tampa, Florida, and Detroit all have 30 points in 29 games.

And then Toronto and Buffalo are at the bottom with 27 points and 26 points respectively, but both teams have only played 27 games. Hypothetically speaking if Toronto and Buffalo both won their games in hand the 2nd-7th spots in the Atlantic would be separated by just 4 points.

Not saying that playoffs are definitely happening, but the struggles of the 2 old Southeast teams have definitely made it so the door is still a tad open.
