The leafs have 9 row, last in the league.
I don't want to take anything away from them, the fact that they are able to score more than 2 goals a game is shocking, but this is still a last place team.

What's worrisome to me is that Polak was a clear 2nd with 22:28.

Yeah. They're on a nice run. They're playing like a middle of the pack team, but they have bottom of the barrel talent. It's not gonna last.

4 games in hand though.
Anyways, despite the rosy-ish forecast from ownership, it looks like Coyotes' attendance is down again this year. Seems pretty hard to imagine they won't trigger the 50 million in losses escape clause on their lease if it doesn't pick up.

Outside of a madhouse at Costco yesterday, most of our hangouts and venues have been way behind what we have experieced in the past few years. I would think the Yotes would be part of this suffering as well.
I guess a lot of the snowbirds are staying at home because of the dollar ratio. Amazing how important Canuks are to the economies of AZ and Florida

But wouldn't the losses this year trigger it anyway? Or did they entirely remove that provision from the deal?
Bates said:I think the early out clause had the $50 million after so many seasons, maybe 5?? So just reaching $50 million in losses doesn't trigger it. Either way they are done in Glendale asap, that relationship is strained to point of divorce.

I remember the clause differently, that if at any point their losses hit 50 million it would trigger the clause. So if they lost 50 million the first two seasons the clause would trigger but they still couldn't leave until after the fifth year.
Anyways, it looks like your second sentence is on point. Apparently they're considering a move to downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale. RIP Glendale. Stop spending money on stadiums.
