Yeah, but he still interviews like a potato.

He interviews like a typical athlete - giving canned answers to predictable questions. On the very rare occasion he gets caught off guard by an actually interesting question, he generally answers them with some personality.

There's giving canned answers and then there's giving canned answers as if you're reading them phonetically with a gun to your head.

MacKinnon looked quite good on that.

Now we actually have to compete in the 3rd.  This isn't quite over.

Please.  Who could possibly blow a 4-1 lead in the 3rd?

EDIT:  Great, now my foot smells like dead horse.

I don't trust this Leafs team that if I were to go to sleep now they'd not ruin things and have me wake up to a defeat

I can't remember where I heard this - or what the specific details were - but apparently the Leafs' record when leading after 2 periods is very strong.

How Joe Bowen keeps his excitement up in a 4-1 game this late and in the 3rd period is beyond me.

I do love Carlyle hockey with the lead.  Stop skating and get hemmed in your own zone all period.

And then follow up the shift we concede the goal on with an Orr line shift
