Korpisalo bit soooo hard on the Marner feed to ?Matthews?. Leafs came into this game knowing Columbus watched their game the other night.

That's gonna be a great weapon. Sometimes JT stops it and sends it back, or it goes fully across 16<----->34.

The question will be whether they can adjust when the other teams adjust to them.  Last year they couldn't do it.  I'm optimistic that they won't get stuck in a rut this year.

Paul McFarland is known for making team-specific adjustments, even in game.

Who was in charge last year, Smith?  Whoever it was, they were stuck in glue.

Hiller

Anderson?s breakaway shot came right back onto Andersen?s back and it was only his quick thinking to wall off the crossbar that prevented a savage goal.

Beautiful 4th line shift. Gauthier is pretty monstrous with his upgraded wheels. Still can?t shoot for beans but he can hold it low for a good long while.

Ceci!  Nice shot.  This D is much improved and no Dermott yet.  Not seeing the risky plays and turnovers that Gardiner was often guilty of.

Didn?t really like how Rielly?s faded off the second man on that 2v2 leaving the shot open
