Leafs @ Bruins - Apr. 12th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

Apart from the first 6 or 7 minutes and the last 2 minutes of the 2nd the Leafs have been at least equal. But the Bruins have taken pretty much every chance they've had and the Leafs have fluffed a few good powerplay chances.

I think that's it for tonight though. They'll just suffocate us out of the third
Fine margins.

Maybe it's time to ride Matthews/Nylander/Marner/Kadri  and not play Komarov 10:19 while Matthews plays 11:17

We can beat this team. The PP has done everything but score. This could easily be a 3-3 game on the road. Leafs in 7.

Yup. Being down means we get to see more top 9 now.

4th line is useless since Komarov came back. Not blaming him because he is what he is but that line can't play against anyone as Babs used to say.

The 4th line wasn?t terrible on that goal. Pastrnak ripped home a beautifully placed shot.
They couldn't clear the puck, the same guy took 2 shots from the same place and one went in... That's terrible in my books. The line has a total different look without Johnsson on it and I don't like it at all anymore. They aren't a threat to score anymore with Leo on it and the speed is gone.

After those missed PPs and the Marner miss it seemed to be a matter of time.  Well this sucks.

I know, he backhanded it top shelf back against the grain, grazing the post.

The main thing for the Leafs to guard against is to gamble too early in the period.

There's no too early. They're down by 2 and can barely string 2 passes together or hold onto the puck for 5 seconds in the offensive zone. Pour it on!

Chins up. Our superstar core has a median age of 20.7
We're at the door for the next decade.

Well said!

And for the record, we've seen this team climb from bigger holes than this.

I was thinking about risky pinches.  Yes, put on the burners otherwise.
