Leafs @ Canucks - Dec. 3rd, 7:00 pm - CBC, TSN 1050

Two things jump out at me:

1) The Canucks area team that don't have the same level of talent the Leafs do and there aren't many teams you can say that definitively about.

2) Despite all that talent, I don't think the Leafs have quite figured out their PP just yet.

Is there hitting still left in this league? 5 guys standing around doing squat and Babcock is starting to get on my nerves with some of his coaching decisions. Why Nylander is still on the 4th line is beyond me.

Somewhat lost in all the new-wowism of this year is the fact that van Riemsdyk is a quality hockey player.

I don't know if it's lost. We've kinda known that for a long time. There just hasn't been much emphasis on it, because he's probably pricing himself out of being part of the team's future.

I think you know the answer.

Sure, usually, but I was just trying to work out that digression. It seemed like a bit of a departure even for him. I'd think he'd be super-high on military veterans and their abilities to run a hockey team.

That's what I meant, basically.

And, sure he's our best trading chip, but is he really pricing himself out?  We all thought that would happen to several guys on TB.  So who knows?

It seems like it peeved him that Viola is American and he fired Gallant who I assume is Canadian.

And a slightly poor pass from Hyman that turned into an accidental stickhandle through Andersen's wickets.

Perfect time for a meaningless tilt.
