Leafs @ Capitals - Apr. 15th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

It's only one crazy game, but it looks like the balanced deployment all season long is paying some dividends now. Gardiner and Rielly ramping up no problem. All the kids are used to playing stupid heavy minutes in junior/AHL, and the youth speed is helping lay the pressure on a more season Capital squad.

He scored that world junior gold medal winning goal in OT.  The announcers said that this was probably the biggest goal in his career.  I think the gold medal goal has to be up there.

Given the context of that goal(in Finland, vs. Russia) sure but there's no actual competition.

Oh there's a competition, and that World Junior goal is winning the swim suit portion.

Bad analogy. The swimsuit portion is the best part.

Polak was right there but I think Andersen needs to make that.

Think both tonight have been weak. Polak I think may have messed Andersen there.
Hunwick screened him..That was a nasty looking injury for Polak..I'll be shocked if he isn't done for the year. Let's hope 22 is ready to go..
Andersen is an absolute beast. I really would love to see Kapanen on Matthews line...I'm tired of stone hands Hyman. Don't get me wrong, he works very hard but they need some finish from him to..

Sure, if you're in to beaches.

"No Al Michaels, while I appreciate the United States were heavy underdogs I'm not convinced that this was actually the result of some sort of 'miracle' as I've yet to see evidence of some sort of supernatural influence. Reel it in."

Don't we need to keep Kapanen on our other 1st line?  ;)

The Leafs will take it to game 7 and their defense will be Marincin, Dermott, Jamie Macoun, that face painted beard guy and a cardboard cut-out of Tim Horton.
