That 5 on 3 was a huge momentum killer. Why we still have to endure Phaneuf and Franson and Bozak on the top unit is beyond me. It's not working.
 
You know what's a good play.  Doing a long dump in with no forechecking speeding against the goaltender who has stopped every single dump in and turned the puck back the other way every single time it happens.  I think the Leafs should keep trying it.

I'm assuming that means the collective age of the Leafs is well under 3 years of age because usually you learn about cause and effect by then.

They're absolutely incapable of adapting to things like that - something that has been a hallmark of Carlyle's tenure behind the bench. They don't seem to have any alternate strategies.
 
How considerate of the Leafs to encourage me to get to bed early.

Seriously, though, is this not classic Leafs? Play hard and beat a top team, then can't get it up for a weak one. Infuriating.
