Ditto Arn and bustaheims re: Enroth.
I'd also like to give some credit to the Devils players, as they really stepped up and capitalized on the mistakes the Leafs made. Cammalleri and Lappin had inspired games. Schneider was exactly the kind of resilient and consistent that we hope Andersen will become.
Game result could've been completely different if the posts we hit were on the inside by another mm or two (Matthews, JvR), or if Marner's Kessel/Phaneuf in one shift had turned into Kessel/Phaneuf/JvR and he shelfed it bar down. Them's the breaks.
Consistently generating chances night in and night out, and breaking up chances the other way will bear out team success in the long run. We're not able to play at that level even 50% of the time yet. Many of our players still default to playing transition offense (even when we don't have the puck yet) and many offensive opportunities devolve into Jason Blake specials rather than sustained zone time. We still give up too many open lanes, or are slow to retrieve pucks, so there's still a ways to go.
