Toronto hasn?t even been in position to sweep California since then.

Shilton is a pretty good beat writer but this makes no sense.  Every time they play in California they are in a position to sweep ... before their first game.

Would be if I were picking apart posters' sentences on here.  Not so, critiquing the pros.

Talk to the writer or talk to her bosses, having a pop at her here just makes you look like an a-hole.

The thing is, I know you?re not, you?re a great guy who adds a ton of value here, be that guy, not the pedant.

Well, I have to admit you have a point in terms of the optics.  But it's not being a pedant to expect clear writing from the folks who get paid for it.

What I?m really liking about this third line is that all three of them are fiercely competitive. They?re smaller guys but they?re insistent on staying strong and relentless on the puck.

Lindholm and Johnsson?s tenacity here earns the Leafs a power play.

I don't like how Babcock manages the PP sometimes.  They had a stoppage with 1:34 in the PP and instead of leaving the first unit out, the second comes on.  Then there's another stoppage at 1:01 ... and the 2nd stays on.  They played well but the end result is 26 seconds for the first unit.  That's stupid.

I?m searching for a reason why contacting her or her bosses would somehow look better than making an off the cuff comment on a message board.

3 mins of PP time so far, less than a min for the top unit.  How does that make sense?

Judging by how the Ducks? PK has made unit 1 look tonight, that?d be why.

That was one of their worst efforts of the season, but unless and until Nylander comes back and they reconfigure, the 1PP should at least get the majority of time if at all possible.

Sparks giving Henrique that little head pat was the best.

I?m not sure this is fair.  They had less than 30 secs to start the first PP before finishing up. And the 2nd PP they came on the ice after PP2 couldn?t gain control of the puck for over a minute.
