Leafs @ Flyers - Oct. 2nd, 7:30pm - TSN, TSN 1050

I really never thought Franson would be this good. He's getting to be a pretty good all-around D-man.

I agree. I had a certain unease last year when he was out in a defensive situation but that's quickly disappearing.

I love Nik Kulemin, I do.  He is like Russian brother to me.

But everytime they show a close-up of him, I'm reminded of that classic line from punk's heyday: "I'm pretty vacant and I just don't care."

Then he crushes Grossman.

Well yeah, just like Johhny Rotten used to do onstage.  It's the same vibe.

He's been really good.  I think one of his best assets is his play along the blueline.  He's really good at keeping the puck in the offensive zone.  Very good with the puck in those situations.

I think the Bernier-Reimer competition is going to be fun to watch this year, but wow is Bernier ever an improvement in terms of puck control.  He tracks the puck really well and cuts down on the danger a lot with his play (either playing the puck or covering it up)

An absence of thought.

He's been a little bit quieter so far tonight but overall Bodie has been a pleasant surprise so far. And I have to admit I was skeptical with his 3rd line role to start the opener but he hasn't looked out of place at all.

Mason channeling Tommy Salo v. Belarus there.....

Philly color guy just said he handled that perfectly.

I dialed in their feed by mistake coming into the 2nd and they were raving about how Philly was just dominating us.
