Leafs @ Flyers - Oct. 2nd, 7:30pm - TSN, TSN 1050

Penalty shot because of a Paul Ranger give away and then take down.

How is Reiley not better than this?

I think we have a keeper keeper in Bernier.  That guy looks calm in net, even on a penalty shot.

Not sure that was deserving of a penalty shot, but, considering how much work the Leafs' PK has already had tonight and the fact that Bernier shut the door, I'll take it.

Ranger has indeed looked all kinds of out of sorts so far in his NHL return. Any chance we see Rielly on Saturday night in his spot?

No harm done I guess, but that was a really dumb move by Ranger. With 3 seconds left and Simmonds on his backhand at an off-angle, there wasn't that much danger there I think.

I think Kessel's looked pretty good so far these first two. I worry about the efficiency of the power-play when it's seemingly using him as the chief playmaker and scoring option but he's looked consistently dangerous regardless.

Yes, I like that they have him skating around and creating havoc ... unlike pinning him to the halfboards or whatever Wilson's strategy used to be.

Gotta put in Reilly next game for sure - too many defensive gaffes by Ranger so far. Bernie's looked great!

Ranger has made some bad plays tonight but he also made a couple of good blocks too that period.  Still, he looked slooooooow trying to catch up with Simmons.

Very sloppy play and they are having difficulty taking passes cleanly, yet the game is tied. Time to steal another two points on the road.
