This game should be 4-4.  I still can't believe Kessel flubbed that one.

The one called back, Kessel flub, Bernier stops the last one and it's 4-3 Leafs right now.

Wouldn't really change the fact that the team's been outplayed for 38 minutes.

Does this include Phaneufs?  Or would that make it 5-4 leafs?

😀

Yes to the former.  We got screwed on that, especially in comparison with the Malkin "goal."  Cherry was right to point it out.

I missed the Phaneuf one and saw coaches corner.  I really could not believe it.

Remember when the Hotstove didn't even have time to talk about the game and repeat all the things the colour guy talked about for 40 minutes?

I actually think Kyper's comments had some merit.  Phaneuf has been very good this year but he doesn't seem to have it within his leadership compass to do something to change the momentum of a game.

Remember when they employed people who actually knew something about the management/media side of the game?

its because its not the hotstove in the second intermission...hotstove has changed to before the game.

Because there's no definition of what doing that is and is always pointed to well after the fact. You never hear about the times Messier didn't "lead" a team back. It's so subjective and relies so much on your teammates performing great too.

Fair point, but still it does happen.  And some players can do it.

Oh really? I usually only tune in minutes before puck drop. That's disappointing. So their second intermission show is just the same as every other broadcasts second intermission show now.
