He wasn't fast last year but he's dreadful this year.  What happened with Barb Underwood who was supposed to make everyone such a better skater?

!

Underhill. Barb Underhill, retired pro figure skater.  You confusing her with Mrs Mike Fisher? Carrie Underwood?

That's Franson's problem, he's been skating with Barb Underwood, not Barb Underhill.

My mistake.  I am actually asking though.  The Leafs seem to be a lot slower this year.  Are they still working with her, and if so, what happened?

Reimer quoted in the last few days as not having asked for a
trade out of Toronto.

Don't worry. You're not getting traded.

So I dunno much about this TJ Brennan guy, but I saw earlier he has 77 points in his last 77 AHL games on the D. That's pretty phenomenal for any league to have that kind of production. Is his defensive play up to scratch or is he not worth a look at some point soon?

I'm fairly certain that Lupul was skating with her in one of the 24/7 episodes.

Nice little pick there on Franson then he took a penalty to prevent a good chance.

We will see if it pays off.

A lot of that is system-related. They're relying too much on long passes to stationary players when they have the puck, and they're playing a very passive system when they don't. There are still signs of their speed when certain players are out there, but, since Carlyle doesn't want them to be a rush team, they're not skating with the puck as much, so, they don't look like a fast team anymore.

well Franson can't do any damage from the penalty box??

and yes, LK, Barb Underhill is still working with at least some of the Leafs?.there was a piece on her doing Kessel (oops, perhaps I should reword that) on LeafsTV not long ago.

Boy, remember all of that "Dave Nonis screwed up so bad this summer he doesn't even have the cap room to offer Franson a multi-year deal" stuff from the off-season?

The scratches and injured players are usually the ones to skate with her before practice or during optional practices.

His defensive play leaves a lot to be desired. That's why he's yet to stick on an NHL roster.

Cody, once you get out of the box, take a seat on the pine for the rest of the evening.

Has he been benched even once this season?

I don't think he's been a healthy scratch.
