Gunnar contains Crosby all night but then Kulemin loses him. Ugh.

Off the draw like that the forward closest to him can't just let him be alone in front.  I put that one on Kule.

Wouldn't he be the D's responsibility?

Seeing as the Leafs on the ice didn't seem to know what their jobs were I doubt we'll be able to figure it out

Pretty sure that wasn't Kule's man. Someone really dropped the ball on that one and by the time Kule realized Sid was wide open it was too late.

I thought the wingers go high to cover the D and our D cover the front of the net + the corner and the C helps out?  Kulemin looked like he was going to cover the point and couldn't recover once he saw no one was in front of the net.  Where's the other D?

I do enjoy when the Leafs need a response and continue to play a muted game.  There is rarely a sense of urgency with this team.

There's lots to like about Kessel, but it would be great to see him fight for a puck along the boards once in awhile.

It was scrambly to be sure.

I think that's kind of the whole "Don't panic, keep playing our game" mentality. Not saying it's right or wrong, but I think it's entirely intentional.

On an effing two man advantage you better gain the zone with control. having Phaneuf and Franson out here when control is important is the stupidest thing in the world. This is on Randy.

Edit: I can't get over the fact that Franson dumped it in with no one even close to the zone. What an idiot.

You'd think, with a 6 on 4 PP, they'd try to do the obvious thing like getting guys in front and putting pucks towards the net, but, no, not this team.

CARLYLE YOU JACKASS: When you have Gardiner & Rielly available don't put Phaneuf on the point.

And what strangelove said about Franson.  Oy.
