Roman Josi has 48 points in 47 games.  Not 32.

Thanks, must have seen 32 on Forsberg's stats.

Just letting you know that I read these game notes :-).

Me too. But I always trust everything that Carlton says. ;D

As you should. The sheep in the media will try and tell you that Timashov is a "healthy scratch" when in reality the team actually has no idea where he is.

On second thought I take it back. I know it's not Feb 27th. :(

If they can maintain the same points pace for the next 33 games that they have for the 26 under Keefe they'll get 44 points and finish with 101.  It's a big ask considering how hot they were for awhile under young Sheldon

Keefe's record also includes a stretch of games where we had 2009-Vesa Toskala in net though, so there were highs and lows with that 0.673 points percentage.

But, on the other hand, the leafs have also been riding an unsustainable shooting percentage and have played a pretty easy schedule.

It's tough to say what will happen ...

That SH% is 9.9% over the past month 5v5, and they're 8.7% for the season...the best in the league YTD 5v5 are:

1.  Tampa - 9.8%
2.  Colorado - 9.7%
3.  Washington - 9.7%
4.  Florida - 9.6%
5.  Minnesota - 9.4%

So maybe, maybe, not too unsustainable.  I'd put the Leafs up there with these guys.  Although the past month was a little easier, I still think they should remain up there given the makeup of this team.

Listen everyone the first game after a bye week is always rough.

I'll give you they had a favourable schedule for awhile there, but I'm not sure shooting percentage is an issue. They're at 9.41 under Keefe. Prior to this little blip they were shooting at 9.72 under Keefe. But I'm not sure that's really unsustainable. Last year they shot 9.47 all season. So their numbers there are pretty much where they should be.

Or, or, you could just say that I'm right.

I'm right like once a year at best, so throw me a bone here.  It's cold outside.

It's not really that cold. Especially for February.

Well, I guess us west mountain people are a little colder than you Barton and Sherman folks.

Barton and Sherman? I've never been more insulted in my entire life.

You did, almost creepily, absolutely nail where I lived until I was like 12 though.

I did wonder about the lack of dialog surrounding the Leafs trade dealing day.
