Leafs @ Predators - Jan. 27th, 8:00pm - TSN4, Fan 590

Shots from right wing.  So difficult for Freddie.  Got fortunate there.  That was due to a bad giveaway by Matthews.

If we could somehow only play Barrie in the offensive zone we'd be ok

Barrie was simply the wrong kind of acquisition.
CC was the wrong acquisition. Barrie is exactly as advertised. He's never been a great defender. CC isn't the top 4 shutdown RD guy.

Barrie is so offensive that they had to balance it out with Ceci - where offense goes to die

.

Not just offense but puck movement.  I think Barrie would play better if he wasn?t allowed in the defensive zone and Ceci would play better without a stick

Well, him too.  But you just made my point: Barrie was not what they needed either.

Granlund had the puck on his stick for about 2 seconds it looked to me, and still beat Freddie unobstructed.  He needs to make those saves.

That?s some good work along the boards by Nylander to earn a nice look and finish for Sandin.

You know how many times Nylander has taken the puck off the boards in the face it 2 or more Preds?

And like I said he was still moving across the net. Those are the hardest for a goalie to save when he's still moving and not set.
