Sure feels that way. After the first 10 minutes or so, the Leafs have absolutely dominated, but a couple bad bounces and a puck kicked into the net later?

Yup...nothing to get too worked up about. Sometimes it doesn't go your way.
 
So far I haven't been really impressed by any of our guys, except maybe Bunting and Sandin for short bursts.

Agreed. Would like to see the slow starts be a thing of the past, but otherwise, tonight?s score is more about poor luck than poor play.

We've been saying that for years.

That's what leads to the reaction of these types of games.  When the old habits creep up, it doesn't do a lot to enforce that this year, the playoffs are going to be different.

For sure. Hope they keep pressing. They're not out of it yet.
 
My takeaway from this beauty is that Matthews should have gotten his writs done in June, not August.
