I think this may have been part of the downfall this year.  He was supposed to be the one providing a calming influence on the back end.  Once he went out, the wheels came off shortly after and they couldn't get them back on again.  I don't think that this is the only reason the Leafs struggled after January 31, but I think it was a factor.

Well, sure, except that the wheels fell off after he came back.

Alright then.  That'll teach me for not looking up stats.  In that case I think Liles is the problem because he.....took....time....away...from....younger...d-man...people...type...things.

Well, if he clears the cobwebs it won't be too bad... hopefully. Partial NTC so he's movable and hey, on a sideways note, Lupul lost his partial NTC for next year so, yay?
