The Official page of the Avtomobilist is not reporting anything on Lupul, but fans in the forum talk vividly about that. Some Russian servers are saying it is deal done. Avtomobilist does not have any NHLer on the roster, but they have 4 foreigners (2 Czech, 1 SLovak and 1 Canadian)
Btw. Yekaterinburg is hard place to live. Winnipeg in February is warm place compared to Yekaterinburg.
The team is dead last in the standing and fans are joking on their forum that he should bring Phil Kessel with him. Anyway, it seems he will be very much welcome addition.
