I hope the Leafs crush them tonight. Completely demoralize their group especially that turtleneck wearing mofo.

Don't beat around the bush man what do you really want?

Interesting Picard getting more time, you would think McBackup would be offered another chance in this game to really cement his place.

Andersen is probably scheduled to play the full game.
McBackup doesn't need to show anything. His place is cemented. He may still be the guy on waivers tho because he may have the best chance of clearing.

Forced to play your 4th line against their 1st line is suboptimal. But if we keep skating our faces into their sticks, it?s a viable route to victory.

Ugly period, our D loves throwing grenades. Did Matthew?s miss the net or what on the PP? How did that not go in?

We better smarten up the rest of the way.

Penalty aside, Johnsson and Kapanen look much better tonight.  I think Ozhiganov has #6 locked down, he's looked good.

As a team, though, yeah - they don't have jump tonight.

You know what I think they should do with the PP?

Unless Matthews was on the shift that drew the penalty, just roll him out. He?s good with Marner. He?s good with Nylander. Pretty much just make him the #1 staple rather than static units. Marner-Kadri-Tavares-Rielly or Gardiner is already proven to be effective without the left flank.
