They're not tearing it down.So do we think the new prez will want his own GM? Will they trust Brad to tear this down to the wood?

I would say the Leafs being much more loose defensively is the story of this game. What happened to the team from Game 6 that gave up next to nothing? Lots of blown assignments, bad pinches and poor decisions in the second period have completely unravelled this game.Panthers winning puck battles is the story of the game.
Yup.Woll left out to dry, Panthers have free access to the O zone. On the other end, any Leaf making an offense push is finding himself alone.
I get salary retention played a roll but we had to pay more for Carlo than the Panthers paid for Marchand. Florida gets the low tax benefit in salaries and gets handed star players. We pay a premium for guys who chokeAnd another really poor decision, this time by Domi led to at least a minute in the Leafs end - not sure how that one stayed out. This is going from bad to worse. Marchand is skating circles around them, which is all the more frustrating.
Yup. They had them but they still had their chances in that OT. 88 and 23 both missed breakaways and they got a flukey goal. .Those two quick goals to tie game 3 was the turning point in the series. Leafs were never able to recover and it gave the Panthers life.
