After struggling with a concussion last season, Mikko Kokkonen (3rd rd 2019), is leading a struggling Jukurit squad in shot share. Somewhat drastically.

This sounds a bit like what Keefe is trying to do system-wise.

How about that unbelievable assist for Korshkov yesterday.  Cant find it anywhere and only saw it once but he flips the puck from behind the net to teammate in front who bats it in. Looked unreal.  Could someone find it and post it please?

That assist and this goal give Korshkov a team leading 16 points in 22 games.

It looked like an accident to me. Like he was trying to centre, but sauced to the slot rather than deliberately set over the net.

100%.  Non-repeatable event.

I'll remember this when he does it on the Leafs' Stanley Cup winning goal this season.

How, if he is the one scoring it?

I'll personally drive to your house and apologize in person, and I'd do so very happily with a case of beer in hand.

I figure the GHA cases will be under control by then.

Cool. I'd still request that you wear a mask though.

He'd flip the puck up and then use all the knowledge he's learned in the 32 years he's been alive to get to the front of the net to be the one to knock it in.

Banking it off the goalie's back seems like the more expedient route.

The other Semyon exists and is somewhat thriving at his level

Hope we can have a steep development curve on more and more prospects like this. In several years when we may have to shed one of the big 4, we will have the talent in line to keep a winning franchise.
