For the record, Gardiner couldn?t make a pass to clear the zone and instead turned it over which resulted in a goal against. Not a fan....carry on.

This is true. However even if the idea that Gardiner makes those mistakes at a higher rate than other defensemen was true then replacing him with someone better in that regard is still going to be difficult. Either you're giving up an awful lot of puck moving and offense or you're looking for someone with his level of offense and who is above average defensively and those guys are hard to find/expensive when you find them.
I guess my criticism against Phaneuf has been redirected towards Gardiner. I?ll try to be more positive. We will get the next one...Go Leafs Go!

Tavares makes a lot of broken plays stay together with his handles. He also makes a lot of goals happen on seemingly stopped attempts too.

Pregame, a reporter asked Babcock if Moore would be playing on a scoring line. Babcock chirps that they?re all scoring lines, before begrudgingly elaborating that he?s playing with Lindholm and Gauthier.

Twice i've looked at the tv and thought, boy, Bozak is really looking energized out there.

I thought Moore was going to wear something else.

How dare he besmirch Leafs legend and McDavid?s hero Tyler Bozak.

Fire away, but I say Tavares is our best forward.
Well you're entitled to your opinion and even though I don't agree,  I think he's made a world of difference for Marner this year.
Matthews is still the best forward we have IMO.
