Reimer Injury

Even people from Windsor don't read the Windsor Star. Worst paper ever. Piece of crap run by idiots.

So a few weeks ago I was supposed to be interviewed for an article.  I was on the phone with one of their reporters who insisted she was on her way with a camera and everything and she never showed up.  She was the one who contacted me requesting the story.  I tried calling back when I left, late for another appointment because of her and she doesn't answer her phone.  Have yet to hear back from her and will be declining EVERY request from the Windsor paper from here on out.

Well, that's encouraging.

I guess.  Wilson hasn't been very accurate with many of his injury reports to this point however.  Whether or not he is doing that on purpose is a whole other story though.

I think the Ottawa Sun would give the Windsor Star a run for their money.  It's a newspaper with more advertizements than actual news, and they don't report on the whole story, so facts and important details end up missing from the articles.

Well if he's actually on the bench tonight it would mean he's well enough to play, otherwise we'd be in trouble if Monster got hurt during the game and Reimer wasn't ready.

Well, it looks like Reims isnt backing up tonight either :(

HennyTweets Paul Hendrick
Appears as if ben scrivens will backup the monster tonight.

And I would hardly even call that an 'injury report', it's more or less a fan's perspective - hoping he'll feel fine enough to play.

I doubt Reimer plays tomorrow. Perhaps we see Scrivens?

jonasTSN1050: Ron Wilson says he's hoping James Reimer will start tomorrow in Columbus. Said Reimer was gassed after the morning skate today.

If he was gassed by practice, wouldn't it make sense to maybe hold off for one more game and bring him back on Saturday?  Gustavsson could probably handle one more game before sitting him for a few, or, let Scrivens start against a team that really hasn't gelled.

Why rush him back and have him hurt himself because he's fighting fatigue.

With that news I think I'd actually have Scrivens play, and Reimer the back-up. Gus could use the break.

7 games in 13 days save one period in Montreal is a heck of a lot of hockey for a guy who really hasn't played a whole lot since coming to NA.  To top it off 6 games have been on the road.  I really hope it is Scrivens, however, I would have Gus back him up.  I think it would be a slap in the face not to dress him at all.

Probably why he said he'll see how he feels tomorrow...considering how theyve handled Reims with this injury, I wouldnt be suprised at all to see Gus in there again tomorrow. Specially if Reims is gassed after a morning skate!

So?  He must be concussed no?

No. Concussion like symptoms =/= concussion.

That is one hell of a case of whiplash!  2 weeks later still can't go.

I've actually never seen this.  He's basically day to day with... nothing?

I still don't understand how Gionta wasn't suspended. It was a flagrant elbow to the head, it wasn't incidental at all.

Get it through your head. The injury is none of your business, you're a jerk for asking and you should count yourself lucky that MLSE allows you to be a hockey fan.
