Sabres @ Leafs - Dec. 27th, 7:30pm - TSN, TSN 1050

The Leafs deserved the 2 points tonight.  A bad first period but they were the better team for the 2nd and 3rd period (and OT).

Bernier wins the shootout without making a save.  I'm sure he'll get the start on Sunday even though two of the goals shouldn't have happened.

A convincing win against a powerhouse squad. I feel this thing turning around.

J/K. Bozak is eligible for next week?

Yeah, they were the better team. They were decent before the first Buffalo goal too. It was just the stretch from that goal to the end of the period that was ... awful.

Wow. Still only 1 regulation win in 19 games. Chicago and before that the Islanders back in November.

At least they got two points. I'm getting a little concerned about their hold on the playoff spot.

Looks like they'll manage to hold on to it going into the Winter Classic. Didn't think they would when the month started. Not sure how long they'll be able to hold on it after, though.

Just do what I do and look at the Sens record and then I feel better.

Picture last year's draft minus the top 4.

That's not accurate at all. The top 2 this year look like they could both be excellent players. They're right up there with the top 4 from last year's draft.

Jones impresses me a lot more than Ekblad, and Reinhart strikes me as more of a Monahan type. Which isn't to say they aren't really good prospects, but that 2013 was the best top-end group we've seen in a while.

Will Kessel ever score a shootout goal again?

Kessel, you are a shooter, maybe try shooting the F'ing puck for a change?

Good for Bernier on getting the two points, but if Reimer were to give up those rebounds, he'd be crucified.

If this team wants to be in the playoffs, they have to do better than eking out wins against the lowest of the low.
