Aren't Getzlaf and Perry linemates?
Yea, so are Toews, Hossa and Sharp.

Potvin29 said:That's a hard angle to judge it on because it makes it appear that he's going to hit him in the side of Ceci's hip not directly from behind.
Stickytape said:What I don't like is that Kadri must have known early on that Ceci had his back turned, yet he completed the check and finished it with some extra effort. That's at least boarding, and I can see a case for suspension. And with Kadri's recent history, it could be bad.
Here's what I mean. Here's Kadri about a full second before the hit. He has his hands up ready to make the hit; Ceci's back is already turned. At this point, this is going to be a hit from behind unless Ceci turns somehow:
And here's Kadri a few frames later, same thing: Ceci is still all numbers and hasn't moved an inch. He is not in motion and turning his back only at the last second, he's just standing there. Kadri is still lining up his hit anyway.
And then watch the video to see how hard Kadri dumps him anyway:

It's obviously boarding and should have been 2 minutes, that much is clear. But a suspension wouldn't surprise me, either.
Ceci: "I just kind of showed my back a bit hoping he'd slow up and ended up face first in the boards and then they scored right on the play"

Bullfrog said:Legality of the hit aside, how about the skill and awareness needed to make that hit and then get that pass off immediately afterwards?
caveman said:The photo you posted is nowhere near a full second before the hit. Watch the video again. Ceci turns his back on Kadri when Kadri gets to the goal line. Maybe a half second later he hits him. I would have understood if the ref gave him a penalty (because it was close) for boarding. It's good that Ceci was unhurt.

Obviously. It really just means their odds are 99.95% or greater.

Then list it that way. They have TBL at 99.7.

If they're only using one decimal place, then showing 100% when the odds are 99.95% or greater is the correct way to round.
sneakyray said:the other weird thing about the hit...kadri hits him on his left side yet he goes into the boards like he had been hit directly in the numbers. Like he was hit perpendicular to where he was actually hit. It's like he should fall to the right because he was hit from the left but instead falls (or jumps) directly forward, headfirst into the boards.

Yeah I'm aware of all that. I stand by my comment.
