sens @ Leafs - Jan. 10th, 7:30pm - SN, TSN 1050

A puck hitting a post one inch in one direction changes everything.

Or a puck hitting the ice and bouncing left instead of right (or vice versa). If things broke the Leafs way a couple more times - especially on some of those early chances - and they likely dominate on the scoreboard as well.

What an embarrassing loss. Can't wait to hear the excuses from Babcock again. Game after game.

Babcock against the sens: 1-6-3.  That is brutal.  1 win in 10 games. Awful way to go into this week break. Horrible homestand.

Why the hell would Rielly pinch there. How dumb is this team.
How dumb is Rielly you mean. For all his skill he has low hockey IQ. Cost the Leafs a point the other night and now 2 tonight.

Aside from Arizona, they haven't dominated anybody in 2 months.  They should have, tonight.  That's why people are frustrated.

And, the way I see it, other than on the scoreboard, they have dominated Ottawa tonight. The puck has been in the Ottawa end most of the night. Not much they can do about the other team's goaltender playing well or the puck not bouncing their way.

Dominating means dominating on the scoreboard too.  You can always come up with excuses but a good team wouldn't be fighting for a point in this one.  Granted, Babcock's decisionmaking is holding the team back, no doubt about it.  He's been part of the problem.

I think you have to account for puck luck. Dominating shot share and puck time and offensive zone heaviness doesn?t always result in winning on a game by game basis. Hot goalies make a huge difference. A puck hitting a post one inch in one direction changes everything.

Puck luck?  Bullcrap.  What a freaking joke.

Woulda shoulda coulda.  Bullcrap.

You can talk about bounces and puck luck all you want, but in a tie game with 4 minutes left...can't try a risky pinch like that. Secure the point and try your luck in OT. These guys seem to need a mental break, hopefully they come back with their heads screwed on right.

This is getting tiring that were struggling in the last bunch of games. Like was said earlier we haven't dominated against a team in months. So much to say.... Just too frustrating.

This team is so G D frustrating. And I HATE losing to these Turds
That's the thing, Sens are complete garbage but somehow find a way to beat the Leafs

I don't think anyone is saying Rielly made the right decision there.

Reilly loses the game with a stupid pitch, now that is 2 in row I put the blame on him. Yes he scored but you don't pitch like that.....

Had a great game til then.  But he really did just cost the team 3 points.  You can't have a veteran (and he is one now) making those kind of mistakes, certainly not 2 games in a row.

And while I am in such a pissed off mood, to hell with your game management Babcock.  When you pull the goalie you shouldn't have your best player just hoping to get on.

Just got home watched some of the game in the pub but came home to watch the last 3 minutes. FFS Reilly 2 games in a row with a brain crap. If I was Babcock I would sit him but no back out there. If that was Nylander he'd be on the bench. Way he sits guys in and out and the favouritism is a joke. Team just makes stupid mistakes and I don't care it's a young team they're mistakes they shouldn't be making.
