Draft lottery show tomorrow at 8pm.

From what I remember in previous years the "excitement" of that show lasts about 5 minutes.

One of the most agonizing 30 minutes of television out there.  Might be second only to watching Glee.  Might be.

A season of disappointment capped off by 30 minutes of further disappointment?  I can't wait!

Wasn't Luke Schenn a 5th overall pick?

Maybe the excitement should be tempered a bit.............

Also, NHL Central Scouting is releasing its final 2012 draft rankings today.

Praise be to the CSB gospel!

The CSB is good, the CSB is great, we surrender our will as of this date!

EDIT: And just like that..here they are:

Bob McKenzie ‏ @TSNBobMcKenzie

Final NHL CSB rankings: 1. Yakupov 2. Murray 3. Grigorenko 4. Galchenyuk 5. Rielly 6. Ceci 7. Faksa 8. Maatta 9. Trouba 10. Reinhart

Bob McKenzie ‏ @TSNBobMcKenzie

NHL CSB (Euro skaters): 1. Forsberg 2. Teravainen 3. Collberg 4. Lindholm 5. Hertl. Top N.A. goalie: Subban. Top Euro goalie: Vasilevski.

Suprised not to see Dumba crack the top 10.  It would be great if Burke could trade for a second first rounder and have a chance to take Subban or Dumba with that second pick.

I see Faska had shot up to #7.  He might be the best/safest pick at the centre ice position in the draft. It might be just plain old good sense to take this kid.

Yeah, what gives? By all accounts I've read, Dumba is a top 5 pick in this draft.

The only defenceman I've seen consistently in the top 5 has been Murray.

I wager that's Edmonton's pick right there.

Edit: Assuming they don't win the lottery.

I think the opposite is true.

Man, if Dumba is available @ 5/6... Tough call there.

My guess is it won't be as tough a call for the scouting staff as it is for the fans who haven't really seen a lot of any of these kids in their respective leagues.

Any reason? He's a pretty talented fella with zero injury concerns, no?

Well sure.

Didn't Damian Cox get some inside info on the Leafs liking Faksa in the 5-7 range?
