I'd expect him to be good in the AHL, but I don't know about dominating. They signed LoVerde, and while I don't know much about him he seems to be a top-ish level pairing AHL defenceman. And everybody around the Marlies seems to absolutely gush about Holl. So that's two righties right there who might even start the season ahead of Liljegren on the depth chart.
He's probably not playing 22 minutes a night with top PP and PK time with the Marlies, which is something he would almost certainly get on an OHL team.
