Anyone think Woll is backup next year? He doesn't have a huge resume but 7 total NHL games now and he's 5-2 with a .922%  Certainly looks more promising than Sparks early returns. It's a long way off but we may have finally developed a goalie for ourselves

I have a feeling that last night was Woll's biggest game of his career.

I think Dubas showcased him, and he's gone for an experienced backup today.

Dubas won't survive if goaltending is what downs the Leafs these playoffs.

The leafs finally have a promising goaltender prospect, and you'd move him for backup rental?

Can't see any logic there. Hard pass.

I think Dubas is all in on this year.  If Murray can't contribute, you're putting a lot on Woll...also, Woll has a whole bunch of injury history, and might be at peak value at the moment.

I'm just suggesting that MLSE would be out for blood if goaltending is what sinks this run.

Oh, I totally agree that the pressure is on Dubas for post season success. But I think the high risk murray deal he signed pretty much locks him philosophically in to the scenario he's in now - unless he's legit unusable, in which case he should have been on waivers long ago.

Sending good assets after bad is more a mark of desperation than good management, imo. Maybe he'll pick up another averagish vet backup option, but it doubt he'd pay anything above a 3rd rounder.

Are we eyeballing Florida's roster? Hey, Bill, want to help screw over Tampa?

I don't think Florida will be selling anyone. They're right their in the mix.

Especially since they traded an unprotected first to the Habs. They don't want to look like idiots

Too late

Touche but it would be even worse if they suddenly pull the plug, sell off assets and sink even faster in the standings.

I'm seeing a bunch of unconfirmed tweets that Dryden Hunt has been traded to Calgary. Don't know the return .. (I doubt much - maybe just getting contract slot). Don't know whether I should have posted this without confirmation. But there are so many tweets on it ... on a boring deadline ...

here's some confirmation

I hope we can get a full 30 minute segment on this trade!

This is literally on par with Mark Donk and Buzz Flibbit.

Zohorna!  That's the Curtis Douglas that Dubas hasn't been able to replace since the Connor Timmins trade

You guys have been pranked, I'm afraid.  "Radim Zohorna" is the name of a minor Mozart opera.

10 min... Dubas really keeping that 1st??

Guess there wasn't anything out there worth moving it for. Considering the moves that went down today, that isn't all that surprising. Big moves were all done.

I don't know the league as well as I used to. But scanning the non-playoff rosters, I did not see a lot that seemed like a potential fit and would be likely to be available.

Trades can still trickle out to the media for a couple of hours or so ...

Any inside scoop why the Leafs gave Dylan Ferguson to the Sens? They only signed him this summer no? I believe he?s the tender that was suspended as an amateur. I may have the last name wrong guys sorry. I just haven?t seen anything in this group on this at all.
