Shoppers Drug Mart vaccine locations. Presently for ages 60-64.

It'd be nice if they'd spread the wealth a little bit on the store locations. Doesn't look like a single Shoppers or Rexall north of North York. There are locations outside the Centre of the Universe.

That?s because this is a pilot program being run in the city, in Kingston, and in Windsor. Once they decide if it works, it will be extended to other areas.

Why are restaurants open for dine-in
We have been open the entire time in the Interior.  The places are really using a lot of care in the protocols laid down by the Health departments. Had lunch dining in on Saturday.

There's close to 350 stores running the "pilot program".

There's a lot of people in the city, and only so many vaccines available to be distributed. They've been spread across the city as to best reach the 60-65 population that live in the 416 (or, in nearby 905 areas, as many of them are travelling to North York, etc., to get vaccinated).

For what it's worth, I think people from outside the areas of the pilot program can still get the vaccine they just would have to go to those areas to get them. I don't think they grill you on your address or anything.

That may be the thinking of starting the program in big population centers that are fairly central.

They definitely can. My fiancee?s mom and her best friend both did just that. No address verification at all.

Fiancee?  I don't think I saw that news anywhere.

Congrats!

Really, I'm just complaining to complain. It's out of my age group. I'd like my parents to take a trip down to North York, but they've decided to wait. It's coming. We've waited a year, we'll be ok.

Thanks. I feel like I did post something about it somewhere, but that was pre-pandemic, so, who knows?

Pretty sure you posted it in this thread post-lockdown, but that felt like a half decade ago.
