Game 12: Leafs @ Canadiens - 7:00pm, CBC, RDS, NHLN-US

Did anyone happen to catch, I think it was in the 2nd period when the Habs were on a power play, Gionta was "screening" Reimer, and Reimer gave him a pretty hard whack with his stick as if to say "get the funky music out of my way!"

I thought that it was pretty uncharacteristic of Reimer, not that I'm complaining! I just found it interesting. He definitely remembers  ;)

If Grabbo did bite him, he should be suspended regardless of the situation.

But the habs and their fans are whiners as usual.

Neither the Montreal players or there coaches saw the replays obviously. Every comment they made had no reference to what happened, Grabbo should be a man and fight instead of biting? He was trying to fight while Max jumps him from behind as the 3rd man in. Colton tried going knee on knee? Plecanic gives a two handed slash across Orrs wrists and skates away, Orr lines him up but Plecanic jumps out of the way last minute only clipping his skates. All they did was make excuses for not showing up last night. To sum up the rant, Price says when the game is out of hand, "The Jokers come out". It was the Montreal players initiating all the scrums and doing all the cheap shots.

It's very probable that Grabbo did bite him, he is a bit wild. But no big deal, no blood, no rabies, get over it Habs.

Typical hab fans actions. Have to have some dramatic overreaction to mythical events.

I wonder how many Habs fans called 9-1-1 last night to complain.

Exactly. What purpose would it serve the Leafs to goon it up in a game they're winning? Montreal is just mad because they tried to send a message and failed miserably.

Usually I would agree but in this case I'm not sure....the instinct to breathe is pretty powerful. Cut off a guys airways and you're liable to be scratched, bitten, punched, whatever.

Of course. I mean they could all clearly see the bite from the inconclusive video.

I feel he bit him personally.  Apparently the Habs sent in some pictures... I guess we'll see. That said, what was Grabo supposed to do? I bet he gets a slap on the wrist, nothing more. Pacioretty should have been more careful.

The only thing those pictures would prove is that Pacioretty's arm can in contract with teeth. Teeth marks are not necessarily bite marks, and pictures taken in the locker room after the fact aren't evidence those marks came from Grabovski.

"Here, Prust, bite me right here.  Enough to leave a mark, and then take a picture of it."

"Why? You wanna send that to Shanny and say Grabovski did it?"

"... uh... yeah, sure, that's why."

"No lets just call the detective and launch assault charges like we did to Chara"

I've ragged on Orr and McLaren lately, but last night was great from both of them. Exactly why they dress nightly, to push around those puny Habs.
