Game 17: Leafs @Lightning, 7:30pm - Leafs TV, SUN

So much for that. Anyway, a loss here is  okay. We can't expect them to keep winning every road game.

And how the F do the Habs keep winning?

Uuggggh, I totally did not want to see Scrivens play this game.  I am not upset about losing this game, I just see a tired goalie that may have his confidence take a hit and that is what upsets me.  We need Scrivens to carry this team for a couple weeks and maybe more depending on Reimer. Just a horrible, bad decision to mess with that mojo on the part of RC.

Look, it's easy to second-guess Carlyle for not starting the Bus tonite but Scrivens did not have a hard game last nite.  It wasn't totally preposterous, and after all the penalty parade hasn't helped.

Second guessing nothing, said this in last nights gd thread.  Not a hard game ???, 37 shots is no cake walk no matter where the shots are coming from.

sigh...this was a winnable game.

They're all winnable games if you actually play well.

very true but tonight just seems like tampa isn't playing too well.  Toronto just didn't have nearly enough ozone pressure tonight.  Too many penalties too.

It doesn't matter when you said it first, second-guessing means when somebody not in a position to make a decision criticizes a legitimate decision by somebody who is.

And last night was hardly a difficult game for Scrivens, especially as it went on.

Bottom line: it was a tough decision for Carlyle, and either way he would get criticized if it went south, which it did.
