Well the original comment had nothing to do with defending your team, but ok.

How can Sens fans defend this team?  Total garbage goal, outplayed the entire game, dirty ass attempt to injure that should have seen the guy tossed from the game.  This game has been a total disgrace from the officiating.

The Sens lost in the playoffs in the 2000's because you had terrible goaltending. That was the #1 reason. There weren't many games that were decided because of a bad call/missed goalie interference.

There was a game which was won when the refs didn't call a hit from behind on Tucker, and Alfie potted the winner.

But of course you're old enough to remember all of that.

Yep.

I also remember a ton of garbage goals against.
And I remember outplaying the Leafs the majority of the time despite losing.
And I remember the refs letting Corson, Tucker, Domi, Roberts, et al get away with murder.

Right I forgot about the part you responded to that you didn't quote. My bad.

Another bad missed call......

Again, what's a Sens fan doing on a Leafs centric board?

Talking about hockey?

There's a number of people that post here with opinions that I respect.

Neil tackled Bozak "offside"...half his body was still "on side".  This after Lupul got filled in from behind.

To me, he quit on the play. You call it what you want.

But, there was no play to quit on. That's my issue here. You're criticizing a player for doing exactly what he was supposed to do in that situation. Both teams were changing. What's Connolly supposed to do? Stay on and risk the sens getting an odd man rush because all of their players are behind him in the hope that Gonchar passes the puck to Lombardi?

So why did he just stand there and look at him, he could have immediately went to the bench? He didn't he stood there and watch the Sens player for a while. He could have pressured the guy with the puck, directly in front of him, that wouldn't have set up an odd man rush.

With all the cheap **** the sens have gotten away with you actually have the balls to say we got away with things? Thanks, you just made me laugh more then this pos movie i am watching now.

P.S if you had " outworked us time and time again " one would think that you actually would have won a series...and we all know thats not the case. 0-4 your turds are against the hallowed blue and white.

@lama... i totally agree. Gus should have to loose the job now or we play 3 in 4 nights yet again for reims to get a start. Terrible management of assets imho.

Right. You're here to stir up shit which you do a good job of knowing that cheering against the Leafs will get people upset.

I hope a mess like this doesn't make Burke do something stupid - unless
he can get a goalie cheap.

Reimer should never been in the net to begin with.  Gus has won the starting job IMHO and had 2 days to rest up for tonight.  Poor goalie management once again.

So what's the solution? Don't play Reimer the rest of the season?  He should have played one of the 2 back to back games in my opinion.

Right, that was the solution and that was what I thought should have went down too.

Because that's not how things actually happened. Connolly saw Gonchar get control of the puck behind the net, saw the rest of his linemates other than Lombardi go for a change and the rest of the sens go for a change, so, he did the right thing and went for a change as well. Honestly, if Gonchar doesn't give the puck right to Lombardi there, you don't even notice anything on that play, because, there's nothign to notice on that play. Connolly did the right thing. The split second he watched Gonchar for was the make sure he wasn't coming out from that side of the net.

Hmmm, you suffered from dementia then?..... you must be very old now.

Sorry, but I don't think this is cool.

You'd be right if you had posted that 7 or 8 years ago.

EDIT: And this probably should have gone to PMs a couple posts ago.

I'll have to look at the replay, but I saw the puck on the half boards in front of him, not behind the Sens net.
