Game 78: Goons @ Maple Leafs, 7:00pm, Does anyone still care?

The Monster gets the start. Burke earlier credited Gus with saving their season (?). Now he has a chance to get them a nice, low draft pick!

Flyers still have a shot at home ice in the first round so they'll be playing for something.  I expect a good hard pounding tonight.

That's what she said?

So....he can save them twice on the way out the door!

I do feel bad for Gus. He seems to try very hard and I do think the Magic
Goalie Coach has not helped him at all. I hope he gets signed elsewhere next year and does well.

So do I feel for him too , with the media telling him that he is done with this team and that if he could give a comment , that's mind boggling

Rynnas with no backup?

Who's our emergency?

Lucky local beer league goalie #3?

EDIT: Sounds like Gus might be healthy enough to sit on the bench for night:

TSNDolan: Gustavsson limped down to the x-ray room unassisted with a towel over his head ... #Leafs

At least, the unassisted part makes it sound like nothing's broken.

Man, the shot that took Gustavsson out looked like such a nothing shot. It either just hit him in worst possible spot (possibly where Gus was nursing something already) or he's Colaiacovo brittle.

Flyers get shutout by the rookie. They have been shutout or beat by a fair number of call up or backup goalies.
