Game 8: Bruins @ Leafs 7:00PM Saturday on CBC

I don't who's going to do it to whom, but I'm here to say that there's going to be some ragdolling tonight.

I saw that it started a new page for me but thought what are the odds.  Great minds think alike.

Not to get the fighting argument started back up again, but I'd love to see him throttle Lucic tonight.

McLaren / Steckel / Orr line = 19'1"  :o

And not one of them are useful NHL players.  Until the Leafs find players for the 4th line that can actually play hockey they will continue to a middle to bottom of the pack team.

Boggles the mind that in this day in age the Leafs are still icing multiple players who shouldn't be in the NHL.

+1

I'm no fan of Lucic, but why?  Will it inspire Kessel to go into the corners?  I mean, if there's no tangible effect, other than to make some fans feel better, then what's the point?  I'm talking about a staged fight, of course, not a "natural" one that involves stuff like anger.

That's just nonsense with respect to Steckel.  Unless you think faceoffs are useless.

Steckel is 4 for 14 on the draw this year, for 28%.  He can't use his hand anymore and he is the slower than a turtle crossing the street.  He provides no benefit.

Might be a bit of a small sample size to rule him completely ineffective on the draw.

Sample size definitely leaves something to be desired.  But I contest the trend will continue, perhaps not at a 28% pace, but similar futility is likely.

If it does, it would be the first time in his NHL career that his FO% was below 56.3% since 05-06, when he played the first 7 games of his NHL career.
