If Wade Redden could find work post compliance buyout, I'd wager a bet that Komisarek can as well.

About time on Komi, he just want to play.

I'm with a select few others on here that believe he mertited another chance to play, and likely wasn't as bad as he's being projected. I do think, however, that pencils have erasers and once a something seems to become a mistake it needs to be corrected. Komisarek could no longer play in Toronto, though I by no means think he can't play or that his days are done.
But, say, if he passes through waivers unclaimed you'd have to figure that's a pretty strong statement, wouldn't you?

Zee said:Why would another team waste their own buyout on someone else's mistake? Komisarek doesn't bring huge skill to the table, there are far cheaper AHL guys that could probably do the same as he does for far less money. I can't see another team claiming him at this money to then turn around and buy him out.

They'd actually have to pay him the buy-out money though. Do you really think a team is so desperate that they'd be willing to spend 5 million dollars or more(depending on what he's still owed for this season) to get 20 games out of Mike Komisarek?

1.25 mil is not that much for a vet that could help during the playoff push.
